360° Review

What is a 360° Review?
The 360° Review is a process for those of Senior Associate grade and above and support staff within the European Corporate Advisory and Restructuring group to obtain feedback on key behaviours from a 360° focus i.e. from their direct reports, peers and managers. The tool used is a questionnaire which gathers feedback on key behavioural values, which Kroll has identified as important for a growing organisation.

Why carry out a 360° Review?
The feedback provided by the different groups, as part of the 360° Review process, will help our colleagues to identify their strengths and development needs. The process acknowledges that everyone, no matter how experienced or senior, can always develop and learn, and the feedback helps to provide the focus.


Completing the Questionnaire

How long will it take to complete the Questionnaire?
We estimate that it should take approximately 30 minutes to complete.  The following terms will be used throughout:
Ratee: The individual for whom the 360° process is being carried out. This is the subject to which the questionnaire refers.

Rater: A person who is providing feedback for the Ratee, i.e. yourself (unless you are the Ratee completing your self feedback).

What if I am unable to answer some of the questions?
Some of the questions may well not apply to you, in which case click the 'Not Observed' or 'Not Applicable' option.

Can I save the Questionnaire as a draft and come back to it later?
Yes. Please use the "Save Survey" button at either the top or bottom of the survey. You will need to log back in to resume.

What should I do if I can't access the Questionnaire?
Check that you are following the instructions as outlined in your Introduction e-mail.
If you are doing everything according to the instructions and still cannot get access, please contact Gilman Performance Systems (see below).

To whom can I speak if I have any technical difficulties with the 360° Review?
Please contact Sharon Gialo at Gilman Performance Systems on 00 1 203 740 2573 x109, for any technical queries.  When you speak to Sharon, please state that you are calling from Kroll.

Sharon will be able to help with difficulties with accessing the questionnaire itself or any of the associated web pages.

Can I complete them from a remote location?
You must be connected to the internet and logged on to the site to complete the survey.

How can I be sure that my responses will be confidential?
On submission, the questionnaire is sent directly to Gilman Performance Systems. Nothing is stored on the PC used to complete the questionnaire. When the report is compiled for the Ratee, it is based on a series of averages, and nobody's individual responses will be identified. It is recommended that constructive feedback is given and nothing should be recorded that you would not feel comfortable discussing with the person concerned.
The function of the password given to you is simply for us to be able to identify you and who you are rating. The password is not a way used to single out individuals or for passing on information to Kroll.

You will be required to answer all of the questions. If you feel that you are not in a position to answer a question, please select the "Not Observed" or the "Not Applicable" option to the question.

Please ensure that your responses are saved by clicking on the submit button at the end of the questionnaire. Once you have submitted the Questionnaire you can not change it. Please use the save survey feature if you think you will want to return and edit the Questionnaire.

SCALE VALUES

Consistently - demonstrates this behaviour more than 75% of the time. This is a clear strength.
Usually - demonstrates this behaviour between 50% and 75% of the time. This is an acceptable level.
Sometimes - demonstrates this behaviour less than 50% of the time. This is a development area.
Not Observed - (I am not in a position to observe this behaviour).


Please provide examples, explanations and suggestions at the end of each section, which will make it easier for the Ratee to respond to this feedback and will assist them in understanding the feedback.
